Donation-based Academic Support

Run by Students, For Charity

What is the Ridgefield Academic Mentorship Program?

The mission of the Ridgefield Academic Mentorship Program is simple but impactful. As high schoolers, we understand how it can be difficult to fully understand any topic in school, and how a new perspective can make a big difference. By teaching, practicing with, and motivating students, we aim to be a new, relatable, and helpful perspective that can lead to better comprehension of all topics.

What Makes Us Unique

More than tutoring—a mentorship experience

We aren’t just a tutoring group that meets occasionally with different people. The Ridgefield Academic Mentorship Program pairs aspiring students with high-achieving high school mentors to create a mutually beneficial, long-term relationship.

Instead of rushing to book a last-minute lesson for homework or exams, student/parents can message their mentor directly and quickly set up a session tailored to their needs. Our mentors have experience in the same classes, teachers, and schools as your child, which allows for a direct, personal connection.

We’re not called tutors for a reason — we’re mentors. Our goal is for students to grow academically and socially, gaining confidence, knowledge, and guidance that goes beyond the classroom.
